Emiliano Martinez, the no. 3 shot stopper for Arsenal, might find himself playing in Spain the coming summer as there are talks of him being placed on loan to Getafe.

The Gunners are actually looking to secure the services of Petr Cech and in case that deal materializes, there is no point keeping Martinez in the ranks as the possibility of him featuring for the club would be zero.

Cech would be the first choice for Arsene Wenger if he does come in, David Ospina would be his understudy and the third one in the pecking order would be Wojciech Szczesny.
As far as Martinez is concerned, the previous season, he got to have a few games to his name in which he did rather well.

In half of the games that he played, he walked away with clean sheets.
He had a couple of off days as well however, but, still, he was hailed by the experts for his overall show.

Martinez has never been a regular in the Arsenal starting line up and has spent most of his time sitting among the reserves.

He has had quite a few loan stints as well to the lower tier clubs in England.

Getafe would actually be the fourth club that he plays for on loan if he indeed gets placed there.
Martinez, who belongs to Argentina and is 22-year old at present, has not played international Football at the senior level.

He has only represented La Albiceleste at the under seventeen and under twenty levels so far.
Martinez had first joined Club Atletico Independiente as a junior Footballer in 2008 before moving to Arsenal in 2010.

The first time that he played for the senior team of Arsenal was in the 2012-13 Season versus Coventry City.
